What are microfibers? Microfibers are tiny plastic particles, smaller than 5MM and invisible to the naked eye, emitted from synthetic clothing and textiles every time they are washed. Polyester, Acrylic and Nylon, account for close to 60% of all material used in clothing and textiles worldwide.  These man-made materials are widely used in the Fashion Industry because of their availability, durability, and affordability. However, because they are non biodegradable, they end up fragmented into smaller pieces in our environment.
